The Benefits of Hosting ACSM and Vocational Qualifications at your University
Why host vocational training at your university and why choose HFI?
Vocational fitness industry qualifications (e.g. Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer) have a direct impact on the employability of undergraduates and graduates within the fitness industry.
ACSM HFS is a post-graduate health fitness qualification that can stand-alone or be taken at the end of the Level 2 and 3 certificates. ACSM HFS will also give access to the BASES CEP accreditation (if your degree is BASES accredited).
Hosting vocational courses is also an easy way to attract more registrations to your undergraduate and graduate degree programmes.
International students will also see the benefit of obtaining an internationally recognised industry qualification such as ACSM. HFI also offer the cutting edge Motivational Interviewing workshop. This gives graduates advanced negotiation and behaviour change skills which employers consider imperative in any client-facing role concerned with health behaviour change.
Implementation of courses is easy and requires very little input from university faculty, HFI do all the work for you. Currently there is a choice of format options that determine the final cost per student.
Universities can incorporate any of these qualifications as an external course. Some universities incorporate them as short-courses that can also carry university credit and raise revenue. Some universities also choose to include a work-placement element to the course.
