HFI Course/Assessment - Booking Terms and Conditions
There is a 7 day cooling off period whereby you can request a full refund All payments include a non-refundable deposit of £150.00. Online courses start on the date that HFI register you for the online course. Face-to-face course start dates are the first day of the workshop.
Cancellations >12 weeks before start of course - no charge (excluding non-refundable deposit); 8-12 week before course-50% charge (excluding non-refundable deposit); < 8 weeks before course 100% charge .
Cancellations must be received in writing.
Retake fees apply for all assessments. These vary and will be outlined on application joining information.
Transfers of particular course to another student: If a suitable replacement (HFI to verify) student can be found by the person wishing to cancel a course then a transfer may be possible. There is £100.00 transfer fee per course (workshop or certification) to transfer the course to another student.
Transfers of course date: If a student wishes to transfer the date of their course, this may be possible at the discretion of HFI. There is £100.00 transfer fee per course to transfer the course to another date.
The assessment date must be decided on at the end of the face-to-face part of the course. this assessment date then is fixed and transfers will be charged a further assessment fee.
All balances of payment must be paid 8 weeks prior to the start of the course to secure that course place. No reminders of balances of payment will be sent out. Part-payments paid will not be refunded if balances of payments are made less than 8 weeks prior to the course start date and places are full at the time of payment of the balance.
The terms and conditions laid out below and elsewhere in this enrolment form are the basis of the contract between HFI Training Ltd and yourself. Please read them carefully as a contract is a legally binding agreement.
1) Applications must be made on this official enrolment form or via our official website www.hfigroup.com
2) The completed enrolment form contracts you to attend and pay for the course(s) as detailed in the application.
3) This application will only be accepted with the deposit (see price list) or full fee. The deposit, or 10% of the full course fee, is non-refundable plus any special course related materials/tutor time, such as online learning registration. For Distance Learning courses, in addition to the deposit there may also be a charge for course materials and tutor time as appropriate.
4) Distance Learning only. Students who have made an agreement to pay in instalments and who are not up to date with those instalments, will not have their course work marked and access to any online account may be restricted until payments recommence
5) Distance Learning and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses only. The full course fee is payable at time of booking. If you cancel or transfer within 28 days, the deposit, or 10% of the full course fee, is non-refundable and you will be liable to an administration fee of £100.00.
Beyond this period, no transfers or cancellations will be permitted.
6) All courses, exam dates much be chosen at the time of the course booking and no transfers are permitted.
7) If you are unavailable when course materials are delivered to the address provided and they are not collected from the local depot an additional distribution fee may be charged.
8) Charges for all course material delivered within the UK are included within the course price. NB all International Deliveries are subject to an additional delivery charge payable on top of the course fee, please call +44 (0) 207 231 3981 for more information.
9) The balance of course fees, i.e. the total fee(s) less the deposit previously paid, is due no later than 30 days before the course start date. Any fees not paid for online courses will result in access to any online account being restricted until payment is made. for face-to-face courses this will result in the place being allocated to another person and a loss of any payment made so far.
10) We understand that occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, applicants may have to alter their arrangements. In these cases every effort will be made to accommodate the change although there may be delays in enrolling students onto alternative courses. A letter of cancellation, together with an alternative booking (on our enrolment form), must be received at our Head Office no later than 28 days before the start date of the original course. In such circumstances any fees paid, including the deposit, will be transferred to the alternative course. In the case of cancellations not accompanied by an alternative booking, a refund of fees paid, less the 10% deposit, will only be made if the cancellation is received at our Head Office no later than 28 days before the start of the course. N.B. No refund will be given for changes or cancellations made with less than 28 days notice. Under no circumstances can the deposit be refunded. An administration fee will be levied for any changes (see point 14 below).
11) Bookings for the Diploma in Personal Training (Dip.PT) are for the Diploma courses as a whole and not for the individual modules and as such, will be treated as a single course. Refunds will therefore not be given for course downgrades. For example, any PT Diploma course downgraded to Certificate in Gym Instruction booking will still be liable for the full PT Diploma fee.
12) It may be necessary from time to time to change/cancel course dates, content, venues and prices from those published. Whilst we will make every effort to transfer your booking, together with any payment made, to the next available course at your preferred venue, it should be noted that we will not be held liable for any costs/losses incurred as a result of any such changes.
13) All modular bookings within the PT Diplomas are subject to availability. HFI reserves the right to keep a modular booking on hold (e.g. Certificate in Personal Training) until the start date of the relevant Diploma. If you have a question regarding this issue please contact HFI.
14) HFI reserves the right to remove from any course, students that fail to comply with its standard practices and procedures. Premier also reserves the right to refuse enrolments, or suggest alternative arrangements, if it believes it will not be in the best interest of the company, other participants or the individual concerned to attend an HFI course.
15) Any changes to a confirmed face-to-face course booking (including change of dates, alterations and cancellations) will be liable to an administration fee of £150.00. Where a refund of fees is due, the administration fee will be deducted from the amount refunded.
16) Applications for all courses which require a pre-requisite qualification must be accompanied by proof of the required qualification.
