Group presentation - ‘Psychological aspects of eating and weight control, why dieting doesn’t work and what really does!’

 

This session involves a presentation outlining why it is so difficult for some people to follow healthy eating rules with the consistency required to maintain a healthy weight. Also discussed is how and why some people, while maintaining relatively healthy weights may at times lose or gain weight. This can cause anxiety which can prevent them from enjoying life, therefore having a knock-on affect their performance at work.

 

Employees are encouraged to attend whether they want to lose weight themselves or not as the information can also enable healthy weight people to help others in their lives.

6-week Group Weight Management Psychology Course

These 30-minute sessions are usually scheduled regularly throughout the year and take place at lunchtimes. But don’t worry, we won’t simply tell your employees what they should be eating and what they shouldn’t!

Instead, we cover the psychological aspects of eating and weight loss and provide participants with practical solutions to enable them to overcome their weight issues.
