Quick Course Overview

Introduction

A ‘life skills’ qualification at Level 1 on the National Qualifications Framework. Candidates will learn the links between activity and better health, and how to analyse their lifestyle, put together a strategy to improve nutritional habits, and take up opportunities

of becoming more active in their daily life.

This is an online course which will give a person thinking about entering the industry a good insight into the nature of the business. It will give you an initial qualification to start to look at becoming a trainee fitness instructor with an employer. This can lead to the level 2 qualification in gym instructing with HFI following our the level 2 certificate or our work-based level 2 NVQ in exercise and fitness instruction.

Students who select online learning are able to work at their own pace and at a time that suits them all they need is internet access.

Course tutors are able to monitor student progress online and give support by telephone or email.

When candidates have taken this online course and have got a taste for the health fitness industry they can gain employment in a health, fitness or leisure environment.
