This qualifications provides access onto the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) at level 3 as a Personal Trainer.
This qualification means successful candidates can work as a self-employed personal trainer or be employed as a personal trainer in a club.

A BSc graduate with a degree which contains an suffcient proportions* of exercise physiology and exercise prescription and has attended the fast-tack course can apply to REPs for level 3 provisional level 3 status which then allows enttry to HFIs fast-track to Level 3 Personal Trainer course. This saves you time and money.

COURSE FORMAT
the course elements are
- 1-day (or 3-day) Level 2 Gym practial workshop (+Level 2 gym assessment)
- Home study / guided learning / phone/skype tutorials (for level 2 and level 3)
- 1-day (or 3-day) Level 3 PT practial workshop
- 8-week PT case study and portfolio completion
- 1-day Level 3 assessments
VIEW level 2 and level 3 training dates - look for one level 2 date and one level 3 date

QUALIFICATION STRUCTURE AND UNIT CONTENT
This qualification comprises of 7 mandatory units
- •• Health, safety and welfare in a fitness environment
- •• Principles of exercise, fitness and health
- + First Aid Qualification (this is a required element).
- Unit 1 – Anatomy and physiology for health and exercise
- Unit 2 – Applying the principles of nutrition to a physical activity programme
- Unit 3 – Programming personal training with clients
- Unit 4 – Delivering personal training sessions
Successful achievement of all 4 units must be achieved for the full qualification.aaaa
