HFI Degree Level International Elite Personal Training Diploma (starting throughout the year)
This Diploma gains entry to REPs at level 3 (Personal Trainer) and, if the Level 4 back pain assessment is taken in addition, then traines will be registered at Specialist Level 4. Trainers also are qualified to work world-wide with specialist populations with the ACSM HFS.
The HFI International Elite Diploma includes the following courses and qualifications:
- Fast-track Level 3 Personal Trainer (Level 2 not required)
- HFI Effective Exercise Motivator
- HFI Effective Eating Behaviour Motivator
- Level 4 Exercise in the Management of Low Back Pain Home Study Programme (FREE online course only)
- ACSM Certified Personal Trainer (ACSM CPT)
- ACSM Health Fitness Specialist (ACSM HFS)
Learners embark on the level 2 syllabus initially, take the online course+ 1-day practical or the 3-day workshop and then take the level 2 assessment. They may have already started the level 3 syllabus study depending on timings and dates. The process is a very flexible and smooth transition from level 2 to level 3 Personal Trainer allowing for fast-tracking if desired. Along the way, or at the end of the level 3, the HFI Exercise Motivator and HFI Eating Behaviour Motivator courses are taken which are 2 x 2-days. The Level 4 Exercise in the Management of Low Back Pain online course is taken. Then candidates take the ACSM Gold Standard workshop (2-days) followed at a convenient time by the ACSM CPT and the ACSM HFS assessments which are available anytime on-demand.
The result is a very well-rounded Personal Trainer with the equivalent of years of client interaction experience and skill to enable them to begin and maintain a successful personal training business. The addition of the ACSM CPT knowledge give that extra edge in terms of confidence and credentials which can be essential for a newly qualified level 3 Personal Trainer/Level 4 Specialist.
